Since 1981 María José Buxó has been participating in several exhibitions organized in Catalonia/Spain. As a member of the association "Artistes de l'Ametlla" since its foundation, she has been taking part in its different activities and particularly the collective exhibitions that take place in l'Ametlla del Vallés (Catalonia) twice in a year.



She likes to use ink on paper to create a non figurative painting which frequently want to suggest specific themes. The artist describes its very colourful works as "chromatic fantasies".
